Robowaifus in Media: Thread 03 GreerTech 09/10/2025 (Wed) 07:54:46 No.41434
Post about whatever media predominately features at least one fembot aka gynoid (female form of an android) as an important character, ideally a robowaifu or synthetic girlfriend. Some freedom with the topic is allowed, virtual waifus or bodiless AI might also qualify if she is female. Negative framing of the whole topic should be mentioned with negative sentiment. Cyborgs with a human brain or uploads of women don't really fit in, but if she's very nice (Alita) and maybe not a human based cyborg (catborg/netoborg) we can let it slide. Magical dolls have also been included in the past, especially when the guy had to hand-made them. Look through the old threads, it's worth it: >>82 >>18711 - Picrel shows some of the more well know shows from a few years ago. I made a long list with links to more info's on most known anime shows about fembots/robowaifus, without hentai but including some ecchi and posted it here in the old thread: >>7008 - It also features some live-action shows and movies. I repost the updated list here, not claiming that it is complete, especially when it comes to live action and shows/movies we don't really like. >In some cases I can only assume that the show includes robogirls, since the show is about various robots, but I haven't seen it yet. Then there are shows which might have some fembot character, but it isn't the main protagonist. We don't need to go through all of them, if they have poor ratings. I'm surprised this one wasn't here. Early Twilight Zone episode (S1E7) "The Lonely". As usual, there's a knife-twist in the end (so fair warning... :D, but the screenplay has many pertinent points related to /robowaifu/ 's interests. And this was in 1959! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Lonely

>>41688 Lol I remember Artbyrobot used that as a negative example in a video. The problem with that episode is that it takes the normie stance of "erm she's not real"
>>41690 Heh, I wish @Artbyrobot good success in his endeavors with his three, highly-ambitious robot projects. Their grand scope + his own personal fortitude are both quite impressive, really. Further, as a fellow brother in Christ, I pray he deepens his understanding of the terrible, desolate plight of so many millions of young men today. The $$$globalist kikes$$$ have literally destroyed these men's hopes and ambitions with their satanic (((feminism))) : now amped up to 12 by the Globohomo Big- Tech/Gov. Completely untenable situation! I'll just leave it at that for the moment; but I assure both him and any other sane, male, skeptic of our efforts on /robowaifu/ that what we do here -- we do primarily for these desperate men by their millions. <---> >The problem with that episode is that it takes the normie stance of "erm she's not real" Yes, and no. Clearly to the protag she quickly became so real that he was willing to risk his very life to save her. But ofc being (((Hollyjew media))) (especially in 1959!! :D, they had to spin it so in the end. But I rather liked it. And I felt strong empathy for both the imprisoned Anon, and for his compassionate & gentle robowaifu! Effective, Pleasing, and Loving indeed! :^)

Umamusume has a mind upload robowaifu, Sugar Lights, and her robot avatar ST-2. Kinda strange for a somewhat grounded universe. https://youtube.com/shorts/x2eEbBN61rk https://umamusu.wiki/Sugar_Lights https://umamusu.wiki/ST-2
My Living Doll (1964-1965) It's a romantic comedy sitcom from the 60s, and it's about a man living with a robot girl from a lab. Since she's from a lab, she's naive and ignorant of the world, but she's visually indistinguishable from a human girl, so she blends in with society. It shows how the idea of a robot girl is quite old I heard of it before, and I found it browsing on Tubi https://youtu.be/B-x5_jFT-KU
>>43104 Thanks, GreerTech. Julie Newmar was a great choice as the robowaifu! :D >It shows how the idea of a robot girl is quite old Indeed; IMHO one may liken dear Galatea to a "robot" girl! * --- * Meaning no offense in referring to the original concept of her...and that goes back over 2'000 years! :^)
>>43114 >Indeed; IMHO one may liken dear Galatea to a "robot" girl! * Yes, but that is a fantasy myth compared contemporarily to robotics. To see an honest-to-God robowaifu character portrayed positively from before my dad was born, is really something. It's also good news, the idea of a positive robowaifu is actually relatively old, so it's been in the collective unconscious for quite a while. Good propaganda if somebody tries to claim that robowaifus are a new idea.
>>43116 Heh, that's all true. Good points, GreerTech. Cheers. :^)

Alma chan Wants to Have a Family! This show is packing heaps of cuteness! It's a fun goofy slice of life story of a family where the daughter is a super robot. It feels highly episodic. Alma and Machina are the main robot girls. Though they're generally depicted as tiny, roughly ~130cm ~4ft, their bodies are accessories. Only their heads are the real body. Picrel 3 shows Alma with an adult body that either of them can use. It's a silly show but, Alma with an adult body is the best robot girl this season.
>>43149 >Only their heads are the real body. Huh, funny enuff that's how SPUD and Pringle are going: both having their raspi's in the noggin and connect via peripherals (so far just I2C)

>>43151 I do like the concept, helps with modularity
I decided to split off some of the recent discussion in the visual waifus thread into this thread to be more on-topic; we were discussing robowaifu games and in particular the possibility of creating a game about holowaifus. The previous iterations of these threads have extensively catalogued existing robowaifu media, but I think we should talk about creating some media of our own. But since my focus is holowaifus, I'm not sure how to make a decent game out of that. As I noted in the other thread, Cortana is the only major holowaifu in gaming and she doesn't actively participate in battle. I suppose there are other genres we could do that don't involve fighting, but I don't know if they'd sell. I kind of wanted to make a robowaifu game, but my ideas are all over the place and I have no real coherent concept for it, especially because of the holowaifu aspect. So then what would a good robowaifu/holowaifu game have?
>>43104 I've very recently heard of this show. Unfortunately, I can't find the complete show anywhere. It seems like several of the episodes have been lost permanently.
>>43482 Good luck with this project, HoloAnon! >>43505 >It seems like several of the episodes have been lost permanently. Seems to be the case. Can you link to a collection of the ones that survived, Anon? TIA.
>>43551 >Good luck with this project, HoloAnon! Well, again, I haven't yet decided 100% to shutter the holowaifu project. And I'm not clear that I'm actually going to try to make a game either. It's something I'd like to do at some point, but things are still up in the air right now. And even if I made an amazing game that got a huge following, that doesn't do much to alleviate the problem of male loneliness in the current society.
>>43482 Maybe you can have a human male protagonist with a holowaifu companion Or have a holowaifu in a small ballbot that can do things like stealth. Kinda like BB-8 but without the head.
>>43505 >>43551 I found the show on Tubi
I personally love digital robowaifu performers already out there. Here's some great examples: https://suno.com/@robowaifuvibes Please post more like these! Cheers, Anons. :^)
>>43562 Thanks GreerTech. Any way you can grab them or something? Never been on there.

Here's a related list if some Anon here has the motivation & time to check out that we have all these items covered in our OP listings ITT: https://www.anime-planet.com/users/someSven/lists/robowaifus-and-other-synthetic-women-in--726853
>>43731 POTD IIRC over half of the only full copy of the shows were lost in the earthquake. So this content probably represents most (if not all) of the publicly-accessible extant copies. Nice work, Anon! Cheers.
>>43684 >Beatless >(Not Recommended) Sad to see. I figured it would be by far the most prime example of a recommended anime on here.
>>43988 Hello, Anon! >Beatless How is it? Any shows ITT you care for?
>>43988 >>43989 Its mind numbingly boring and reddit-tier pretentious. And the protag (all characters tbh) in the show is so retarded for the plot to progress that you want to strangle him. Plus, a whole bunch of recap episodes for some reason for just a 24 episode show. The soundtrack is good though.
> (robowaifu media -related : >>44084 )
Turns out there's an upcoming release of the GITS franchise in July: The Ghost in the Shell https://www.theghostintheshell-anime.jp/ https://asianmoviepulse.com/2026/02/new-ghost-in-the-shell/ Apparently, it follows on from SAC_2045, but with a return closer to the original movie's art style. Should be intredasting IMO.

I don't know if this is the right place for asking, but I'm looking for a certain song. Its a parody of "Just Push Play" by Aerosmith, but about 2B. I found the youtube link here before, but now I can't find it on Youtube anymore.
>>44107 I don't know of it, Anon. Good luck.
>>44107 Made a few searches, but I couldn't find it either. It's possible that the video is either removed or de-listed. If it's just de-listed, then it is still possible to get the video through a direct link (de-listed videos never show up on search). If you keep your browser history, try looking though that. You'll know for sure once you click on it.
>>44156 >Arguably Cortana is more popular in the West than a (positive) robowaifu character. Yeah I think that may be true (probably is). Honestly, I can't think of any non-(((dystopic))) robowaifus in Western media at this point? Maybe some from the 60's or earlier maybe?
The Apple TV Show titled [The Morning Show] will showcase a scene podcast host by the name of Bro Hartman interviews a sex robot by the name "Suki". This can be considered soft disclosure of whats to come: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Morning_Show_(American_TV_series)
>>44166 Hello, World Serpent. Thanks for the headsup. >Bro Hartman interviews a sex robot by the name "Suki" Kek. I can only imagine the levels of pozz that will be flowing... better put on you're are waders first!! :D
